## What it does

Adobe's first official Model Context Protocol connector: a hosted remote server that exposes Creative Cloud capabilities as agent tools. Retouch and batch-edit stills, generative-expand plates, design and animate from Express templates, search Adobe Stock, build InDesign data merges, and reformat or quick-cut video. For a filmmaker-agent this is the key-art, poster-variant and social-cutdown bench, not an editorial tool — the video surface reformats and summarizes clips, it does not open a timeline.

## Field notes

GA Apr 28 2026 per Adobe's own blog; the first entry in this directory with Adobe as vendor. The endpoint https://adobe-creativity.adobe.io/mcp is taken from Adobe's published plugin manifest in github.com/adobe/skills, not from a marketing page; an unauthenticated tools/list probe returns 403, so the tool names here come from Adobe's own skill definitions rather than a live handshake. The video limitation is the thing to know: Adobe documents reformat/resize (video_resize) and sizzle-reel generation (video_create_quick_cut) and nothing that opens, reads or edits a Premiere Pro project — Adobe's own Quick Cut skill instructs the agent to use it 'before suggesting manual editing in Premiere'. Guest access covers roughly 40 of the 50+ tools; video tools and Gen Expand require signing in and a few require a paid subscription. Adobe documents setup through Claude's connector directory (plus Cowork and Claude Desktop) rather than a published mcp-add command, and Team/Enterprise admins must enable third-party connectors before members can use it.
