What it does

Canva's official remote MCP connects agents to editable design workflows: generate and edit designs, search libraries, manage assets and brand materials, export in delivery formats, resize for channels, and handle comments. For film teams it is the campaign and pitch-collateral bench: YouTube thumbnails, posters, social cutdowns, pitch decks, review decks, and branded variants around the actual film.

Remote endpoint is documented as https://mcp.canva.com/mcp. Most core tools are available on all plans, but resize requires Pro or above and autofill/brand templates are Enterprise-only. Custom MCP clients may need redirect URI allowlist approval; end-user AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini, and others are called out by Canva as commonly supported.
